With companies fast entering the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, navigating the complex legal and regulatory concerns surrounding the area can seem daunting. Particularly when the legal issues relating to this area aren’t well settled. Developers and consumers dealing with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology can potentially face challenges in the areas of property rights, intellectual property, corporate, contracts, discovery, data privacy, federal and state regulatory compliance considerations and the like. Since early 2017, Wes noticed the emergence of this new technology as being transformative in the areas of law and business, and has taken an interest in this new and emerging, multi-disciplinary practice area.
