Timothy Camarena, Esq.
Timothy S. Camarena has been practicing law in Ventura County for over thirty years. Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Tim moved to Northern California in 1972 to attend the University of California at Davis, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. After graduating from U.C. Davis, Tim stayed in Northern California and earned a Juris Doctorate at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. In 1981, after passing the bar exam, Tim relocated to Ventura County to be near family and start a career.
In 1981 Tim began practicing with L. M. Schulner & Associates, in Camarillo, where he practiced for 17 years. Tim handled debtor bankruptcy in the beginning, and then expanded into civil litigation. As a civil litigator Tim obtained extensive experience in pretrial matters, including depositions, discovery, and law and motion.
Then, in 1999, Tim began practicing with the Law Office of David E. Edsall, in Camarillo, where he practiced for 12 years. At the Law Office of David E. Edsall, Tim’s practice expanded to include probate, wills, trust and estate planning matters, in addition to civil litigation. At Edsall’s Tim added contested wills and trust matters to his litigation experience.
Tim is a member of the California State Bar, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the Eastern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and a volunteer attorney at Grey Law of Ventura County. Practice areas include real property, corporate issues, probate, wills, trusts, contracts, landlord and tenant, collection, and trademark issues.
