Susan MacLean is an experienced attorney and real estate broker with over 25 years in the industry. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1996 and was the Senior Editor of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. She worked for the United States Environmental Protection Agency, drafting statutes and handling construction cases. Her legal work in land use and real estate development led her to earning her Broker’s license. She has managed hundreds of agents, run her own brokerage company, is a real estate developer, a landlord, and has personally closed hundreds of transactions. Handling foreclosures, working with banks and asset managers, and handling trusts and estates real estate, has proven invaluable in her law practice. She has extensive experience working with landlords on issues with tenants, insurance, neighbor disputes and contract issues. She understands the needs of brokers, real estate agents, contractors, landlords and developers.
Susan works diligently for her clients and excels in negotiations and settlements. She attended the post-graduate STAR program at Pepperdine’s Straus Institute and always puts her clients’ best interests first. Susan is also an active volunteer in the community, working with schools, Habitat for Humanity, the Boys and Girls Club, Scouts, the YMCA, and the Affordable Housing Task Force.
Susan is a member in good standing with the California State Bar and the California Department of Real Estate. Her practice areas include real property, landlord/tenant, environmental, negotiations, contracts, insurance, and corporate law.
