Lauri Shahar joins RELAW with a background which blends legal, construction and real estate matters. Prior to entering the practice of law, Lauri’s diverse experience of hands-on real estate and construction gives her a unique skill. Lauri approaches each legal issue and lawsuit with the goal of reaching an effective and efficient business solution for the client. She applies her many years of mediation experience as a pre-litigation strategy.
Her practice includes negotiating and litigating real estate and construction contracts, residential and commercial leases, and purchase and sale agreements along with other real property and construction matters.
Lauri earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, a master’s degree in Economics from California State University Fullerton, and a J.D. at Concord Law School. Enjoying speaking several foreign languages, Lauri also studied at the Sorbonne, University of Paris, France and the Beijing Language Institute, Beijing, China. She also holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License since 2002.
Lauri is active in the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and served a past chair of the Business Law and Real Property section.
